2019年3月11日晨会上，澳洲艾文豪精英学校上海分校校长Emma Sheppard女士与学生们一起探讨什么是"destination"?学生们对"destination"的解释是：你想要去或者计划要去的地方。

　　Principal Emma Sheppard spoke to students about what a destination is. The students described a destination as somewhere you want to go or are planning to go.

　　这个"目的地"可以是实际的地点，比如墨尔本或者你想要去的大学;也可以是你未来的目标，比如成为一个医生或者在国外生活。

　　The place you want to go can be a physical place like Melbourne or university. It can also be a future aim such as to become a doctor or to live abroad.

　　学生们必须考虑他们的学习目标是什么。Emma校长分发给学生每人一张罗盘的图像。要求学生在指南针上的8个点上写下他们的"destinations"目的地。

　　Students had to consider what their learning destinations were. They were given an image of a compass. For each of the 8 points on the compass, students had to write one of their destinations.

　　然后，学生们写下为了到达"目的地"需要进行的努力和详细的步骤。

　　Then, for that destination they wrote what steps need to be taken to reach that destination.

　　Also, Bridging teacher Frances spoke to the students about the Student Leadership positions.

　　She outlined the positions and the process for applying. She explained the house system to the students by comparing it to the house groups in Harry Potter.

　　她简要介绍了各个领导职位以及具体的申请流程，并以《哈利波特》小组为例，向学生们系统介绍了"the house system"团队小组的运作模式。

　　It is a great opportunity for students and we are hoping many are interested in leading their school community.

　　这对学生来说是一个很好的锻炼领导能力的机会，希望学生们都能积极地参与这项校园领导活动。
